    Please Hold Non-Urgent Web Requests

    We are currently in the process of enhancing our website. Our primary goal is to help prospective students quickly understand what sets Bishop's apart and easily find the information they need.

    Until the launch of our new website on September 1, any updates must be made in both the current and the new site simultaneously. This significantly increases the workload for our webmaster.

    To help us focus our efforts on successfully completing this transition, we kindly ask departments to postpone non-urgent website update requests until the new site is live. Urgent requests can still be submitted and will be addressed as needed.

    Thank you for your understanding and support as we work to improve the online experience for our prospective students and other visitors.

     

     

    Notice regarding bilingualism on our website

    Starting in June of 2024, certain sections of the website will be maintained in both English and French. Please contact Sonia Patenaude to discuss this process for your department: spatenau@ubishops.ca.

    Notice regarding Title Changes

    The Communications Department DOES NOT process requests for title changes in the B.U. Directory. That is handled by HR and ITS, and once they apply that change in the B.U. Directory, we receive a notification and will then update web pages if necessary.

  • When requesting updates to an existing web page, the best thing to do is copy the text currently online into a Word document and either use track change or yellow highlight to clearly state what needs to be updated, added, or removed.
